For You

"With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last." Mark 5:37
When you think of why Jesus died, what comes to mind? When Jesus was breathing his last breath, what do you think He was thinking? What motivated Him to accept His unworthy criminal death?
For you
When Jesus was being whipped and beaten,
it was for you.
When Jesus was spat on and ridiculed,
it was for you.
When Jesus had a crown of thorns slammed on His head,
it was for you.
When Jesus was nailed to a cross,
it was for you.
When Jesus’ flesh was being torn from His limbs,
it was for you.
When Jesus had His side pierced,
it was for you.
When Jesus cried out to His Father,
it was for you.
When Jesus breathed His last breath,
He thought of you.
When you think of Jesus,
what do you do?
If Jesus was here right now, living with us on this earth, what question would you ask Him? No matter what question you asked, there would only be one answer He would give.
He would take you by the hand and looking deeply into your eyes he would say,
"For you my child, for you!"
So I ask you today, as we draw near to the glorious celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection, what are you doing with His gift? He lived and died for you. He has given you the opportunity to receive eternal salvation and entrance into Heaven. There are two options, either receive or reject Jesus. Both have eternal consequences. It’s up to you.
When you think of Jesus,
what do you do?
In Him, "E"
