Anger Is Bad

Hello beloved sheep of Christ!!!!

Revelations 8:11 out of the Message Bible "The thrid angel trumpeted. A huge Star, blazing like a torch, fell from the Heaven wiping out a third of the rivers and springs. The Star's name was wormwood. A third of the water turned bitter and many people died from the poisoned water."

Wormwood in Hebrew = cursed, a curse of bitterness leading to calamity or destruction.

Do not drink the water of bitterness. The Lord demonstrates how one of the worst curses in this world involves bitterness. It is a poison that destroys us from the inside. And in the last days, it will be unleashed upon the earth in such vast amounts! One third of the water filled with bitterness, where will you choose to drink?

People feel bitter when they have been wronged and hurt, and they see no justice coming to their adversary. Perhaps you know how it feels, and maybe your adversary has even profitted from your downfall.

But hope is in Christ. Remember who is righteous, just, fair and compassionate. God the Father and Jesus the Son. Refusing to forgive is the food for bitterness. Do not feed this very thing set before you to destroy you from the inside out.

Proverbs 15:29 "The Lord is far from the wicked but He hears the prayers of His saints."

Matthew 18:21-35 is the story of the man who was forgiven his debt, but went out and persecuted the man who owed him.

Ephesians 4:25-32 in the Message Bible again, says: "Go ahead, and be angry. You do well to realize your feelings, but don't use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don't stay angry. Don't go to bed angry. Don't give the devil that kind of foothold in your life."

If you are still ahving trouble, read the entire book of first Peter. there is much light to be found on this subject. God always gets the last Word!!!!!

1 Peter 5:15-? "Keep a cool head Stay alert. the devil is poised to pounce and would like nothing betetr than to find you napping (or unaware, unalert in your walk) He wants you to be unaware of his schemes. So keep a firm grip on your faith. The suffering won't last forever. It won't be long befoer this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ-and great and glorious plans they are! will have oyu put back together and on your feet for good. He gets the Last Word; yes He does!"
