Hello, Blessed People of God!
Conviction hurts, but the consequences of sin hurt more.....
Has God been speaking to you lately?
Proverbs 1:22-33
"How Long you simple ones will you love simplicity? For scorners
delight
in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge. Turn at my rebuke and
surely I will pour out my spirit upon you. I will make my words known to
you. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my
hand and no one regarded, because you disdained all my counsel, and
would have none of my rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will
mock when your terror comes, and when your terror comes like a storm,
and you destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish
come upon you.
Then they will call on my but I will not answer; They will seek me
diligently, but they will not find me. Because they hated knowledge
and
did not choose the fear of the Lord, they would have none of my
counsel
and despised my every rebuke. Therefore they will eat the fruit of
their ways and be filled to the full with their own fancies. For the
turning away of the simple will slay them and the complacency of fools
will destory them; But whoever listens to me will dwell safely and will
be secure, without fear of evil."
He's calling us to a higher place in Him. HE dosen't use dirty vessels.
HE wants to purify us. Rivers are always purest closest to their
source. Stay hooked up to your source, endure the flame of
purifivation.... Gold is purified by fire, they burn off the "chaff" and
all that is left in such high heat is the pure gold. That is what the
Father wants for you. He wants you to be pure and holy so HE can be
glorified through your words, actions, life!
Do you feel the heat of the purification process?
Hebrews 12:5 "Nor faint when thou art rebuked."
He dosen't mean fall down unconcious. He dosen't mean faint in
embarrassment. No, He means don't let your spirit be weakened. Keep
feeding yourself the Word, stay hooked up with your church. Rebuke
and
Correction should make your spirit stronger. A person faints when they
are not nourished, and they have not kept themselves healthy.
Remember:
1 Corinthians 11:31,32
"If we judge oursleves, we will not come under judgement. When we
are
judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined as a son, SO THAT WE
WILL
NOT BE CONDEMNED along with the world!!!!"
God corrects those He loves, because He sees us as the finished
product.
He knows our potential. HE said we are to change from glory glory.
HE
dosen't rebuje us to shame us or show us how horrible we are, He
rebukes
us to show us how much better we can BE!
God cannot change us, however if we hold up our wall of pridfe and
refuse to take a look at ourselves. He is waiting at that point for us
to humble oursleves and fess up, asking Him to mold us, fix us,
transform us.
Don't resign your attitude or problems to hopelessness, Give it to Him.
That is the only way you'll ever get to your next level of glory.
