Look Within
By Gerald Sumeracki
How often have you walked a lane
And seen the beauty there
The shaded trees a sparkling brook
All pure beyond compare.
How often have you spared the time
To hear a singing bird
To listen to its joyful sounds
The likes you'd never heard.
How often have you looked upon
All those you hold so dear
And really seen the worth and joy
They bring while they are here.
How often have you looked at self
To see as others see
Do you reflect the image
Of the Man upon the tree.
Earth's beauty is for learning
All things provide a Way
To bring the fleeting joy we seek
On this and every day.
