Pentecost

They gathered in that special place,
With fear in every heart,
Awaiting what, they did not know,
Christ's promised re-born start.

They joined their souls and wills in prayer,
In a fellowship of love,
And praises for their Lord and King,
They sent Him now above.

And then a Power from on high,
Did manifest It's might,
As roaring wind did fill the room,
They saw with new found light.

God's fire of Love came to them all,
His Spirit sparked a flame,
And all were filled with peace and joy,
They'd never be the same.

They boldly went out to the world,
Proclaiming Jesus Lord,
Through love of God and fellowship,
God's grace on them was poured.

Salvation's plan they simply taught,
Accept The Christ as Lord,
Be baptized and accept His Love,
Become God's mighty sword.
