Please help me find the true Church that will keep me and unveil to me all the mystery in your Words. my mom paised away not to long ago, i didn"t think i could go on, i was her caregiver and she was my earthly best friend.but by the grace of God he has brought me thru. the Lord has given me the strength that i needed, he has indeed been a comforter,a friend and so much more, he"s been my everything.he"s such an awesome God.

I was watching a program last night about Shadrack, Meshack and abdebego( Ihope that I got it right)There were scientists on the program that said that it could never happen. Well it can, I experienced it.I was training a new guy and we were burning a logging unit for International Paper. I have to keep this short so I will just highlight it. Anyway I kept my newbe in front of me because the real crew knew what to do . Suddenly I found myself in a draw that looked like a chimney to a wood stove, with a 20 ft. deep fire burning under and around me in every direction. I had been lighting also. It sounded like thunder that never ended. My arms were doind the hot dog in the microwave thing and I had just a tee shirt and my cruiser vest on,not my fire jacket! I looked up to the LORD and said " I haven't talked to you in a while, but I think I need some help" Then suddenly, It wasn't hot any more and I was in a bubble. It was so relaxing . I felt like I was walking in a park on a spring day! I have many other circumstances to include but don't want to run out of room. I walked on approx. 20 ft of burning embers and slash but did not fall in. I went about 100 yds through this raging furnace. I got out and everyone though that I was dead. They could not believe it when I came out of that mess. I realised what had happened and got an adrenalin rush, this made me hungry. I reached in the pack of my cruiser vest an fished out my sandwiches. I bit into a crisp sandwich and couldn't believe it as not one thing on me was burnt. Praise The LORD. Needless to say I started actively seeking the LORD and have not quit. I love the LORD and HE has worked so many miracles in my life it would take a book to write them all down. I am not supposed to be walking but have a small construction co. and do things myself that normally takes 2 to 3 people. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT WE ARE UNDER THE WILL OF GOD NOT THE LAWS OF NATURE OR THIS WORLD, WHEN WE TURN OUR LIFE OVER TO JESUS.

Praise the Lord, Hallelujah! I finally moved, I found a cute apartment with plenty of space. Father, I am grateful for what you did for me, I was a little speachless for the past three days. Thankyou so much my wonderful gracious King, Thankyou I am most grateful. Thankyou Lord, I love you so much you deserve the best of the best. My name is Chike O*, I died for hours following a car crash in Abuja Nigeria, on Dec 15, 2006. I woke up nine days later....ALIVE.....I mean ALIVE.....Despite my iniquities, he saved me. Had I died on that day,I certainly MUST BE IN HELL FIRE NOW. I was a night club freak, whorewmonger, lier, cheat, e.t.c. I was bad. The devil just kept deceiving me. I even stopped going to church....how horrible. Now the great part for my praise, I AM BORN AGAIN!!!!!!Never to go back to the world. The Lord has given me a second chance to redeem my soul, I feel very SPECIAL TO GOD. I've lost the use of my legs temporarily from the spinal cord injuries in the crash, but here's another big one, God touched the heart of friends, associates and family, they raised and are sill raising funds for my treatment here in Hospital in SouthAfrica, so far, God has raised close to $20,000. for all my treatment in four hospitals so far, 2 in Nigeria and 2 in S.A. I thank God for all the miracles done in my life, I am committed to serving him in any ways he chooses, I've been filled wih the word, I am redeemed, renewed and revived. Please pray for me to maintain this Christ tempo in my life. I love, God, I am better now and not bitter, I am very happy even without legs, I am ready to crawl for the LORD if it ever comes to that. I am very grateful to God. I am blessed, enlarged my coasts, he's taken me away from all temptations and HE's hands are upon me. HE has healed me. Glory to GOD!!!

About a year ago i had become very addicted to heroin. I lost most of my friends and my family had lost me. Until i got arrested for stealing from my church and got sent to a chrstian program. It was so hard and i was having terrible with drawls and i totally hated it there. Until one night god spoke to my heart if you believe you shall recieve, which kept going over and over in my head. And as i laid in bed at the lowest point in my life i told god i was his and if he was real i wanted to know and i was done trying this life on my own.The next day i woke with a my withdrawls gone and all the needle marks on my arms totally healed, and through christ jesus became a totally new creation. And now god has placed me in a skateboard ministry and i am able to travel around the US and share the love of JESUS CHRIST. God is so faithful and amazing he still is blowing me away!

Our Loving Heavenly Father, we thank you. My son 27 is busy planning for his school overseas this year, and also I am wondering what to do while he is gone. He just told me his teacher has nominated him for a scholarship to that school, please God see this through as you would see fit. He has worked for this for so many years, Praise God! Now Lord I have found Christ.com to contribute to while here at home, thank you so very much for this. God is my refuge! the enemy sought to take my mind by depression. I cannot describe how awful the attack was. I had times before that seemed like regular depression, but this time it was as if the weight of two words in my mind would cause my mind to collapse. There were sudden onsets of anxiety and feeling as if I could not go on or that I even wanted to be alive. I am presently separated and have three children to care for. Every day it was as if I was numb and not even here. I could barely do for myself, much less for my children. But GOD.... If it had not ben for the Lord who was on my side! I would cry out to god and get on my face before him.The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Even when you dont hear god, HE's there! Even when you don't feel God, HE's there!God is able to deliver us from the hand of the enemy! We are blessed and highly favored! We are His children and he loves us with an ever lasting love! Thou O Lord are the lifter of our heads! I thank God for deliverance and his tender mercies.If you are battling with something similar remember that god has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love and of a SOUND MIND. God, I plead the precious blood of JESUS over the minds of your children. We are your children and you have wonderful plans for us all. I pray that you put a hedge about your children , that when the enemy comes in like a flood that you will raise up a standard against the enemy.I pray for sweet rest and peace in the HOLYGHOST for your chilren . God answered my prayer request submitted here in respect of our lagos bible college that had some financial problems 2003-2005. praise him for seeing us through the turbulent times. thank god for the trials that strenghtened our faith in him. this year we believe him also to provide for us to settle our rents/bills and to update our college library.ptl!!!

Hi I'm Porsche, I just want to say that I am so very thankful right now. In September I began college classes after having time off because of financial troubles. I was at a University, but transfered to a Community College. I was working and going to school both full time. I had never took on a task like that before. It was so tough for many, so many days I felt like just giving up, but I didn't, I just prayed. I just got my grades from school and I got a 3.0. I am estatic, I can't do anything but thank the Lord. Thank you so much, I couldn't have done it without you! I have so much faith and good hope for my future! In Jesus' name Amen!

I do housekeeping and there are many, many positives of doing that as a living. I am self-employed so I can hire or fire employees. There is this one client I have been working for, for eight years. The past year many, many changes have occurred. Too many for me to adjust to. One I found most difficult is when I started no one was in the house, therefore, I can work in any room I want at any time. Now that five people are constantly in the house I am never sure if what room is okay that I work in. I do not have any organized order to work in anymore. I can not work like that. I have tried to adjust to it the past year. I just can not do it anymore so I quit. That was very risky because through the couple, I also work for a relative of theirs, at their office and at a friend's home of theirs. So I was prepared to lose a lot of money every month. They have accepted my decision and I still do work for all their other clients that they have referred me to. That is exactly what I hoped for and I am so grateful and happy. Praise God. Thank You God. I already feel a lot lighter, of not dreading to work at the couple's house, not sure what to do in what order.

The Lord certainly works in mysterious ways and Praise Him for it. I just hung up the phone with a woman , a sister in Christ, but I have never met her .She was calling the business office in regards to insurances and the like. And Glory. We went off in left field with our conversation and it was all about God and his Glory. Shirley Hunt is a 3 year cancer survivor and going for 5. She loves to live for the Lord and praise him, and write about him and share her testimony of healing. Which is exactly what we spent extra time on the phone talking about. I was so touched by a womans words that I had never even met. The body of Christ, the believers, we are all connected.Isn't it great. Nothing can separate or destroy that. How amazing that is. I just wanted to take the time to Praise God for all the wonderful things and people that surround me. And thank him for being the healer and giver of life. There is none like Him. In Jesus Name AMEN!

First of all I want to thank you for your thought of the Christ . The night I cried out to the Lord to take my life into his hands ,I said Lifes pressures was to much for me to take on by myself . I cried for help higher then me .. MY Lord Jesus showed me the wanders of the world and his devine Kingdom. I died Laughing how I worried about lifes hard times . Knowing Jesus was and is by my side through it all We can handle anything. I can say so much more about the love he has for both you and I , but the main thing for my writing is that I want all to put their trust completly in the Lord and then you will know their is nothing he will deny you.

I want to thank you for all of your prayers. I've had a bit of a development on Sunday, an attestment to the power of prayer: I received an e-mail from my wife that evening (after she returned from her usual weekend tryst with her lover). She asked if she could spend next weekend with our son! I was ecstatic and said yes, but that it should be obvious that her lover not be a part of this. She e-mailed me back and said she knew that. So I actually have two things to praise God for here: she will spend the weekend with our son for the first time in more than two months and she will spend the weekend without her lover for the first time in more than two months. That's a long way from reconciliation, but it's certainly good news and praise worthy! So please keep my family in your prayers for our marriage to be healed.

I would like to give praise to God for healing my son who was in a major car accident.He was put into a coma upon impact,his leg was was broken.God told me no death when I arrived at the accident scene.That was when I learned to praise God through all things.My son had to have brain surgery from front to back.the doctor said he would need a second opperation,and a club shoe.when they repaired his leg,one was shorter than the other.God said he would bring total restoration and he has.you can,t tell my son was in an accident.I refused to get him a club shoe,he didn,t get a second surgery.I stood on the word that god had given me for my son,s complete healing.he was nine years old at the time,he is now twenty October 29th. He has a sister who also gave her life to God Last friday night.God said he was bringing restoration to my family.my daughter is twenty four.Her brother is twenty eight and he gave his life to God a few months ago.I have one more son and daughter who has not found God yet,but they will.I have five children in all, only two are now unsaved. hello i hope all is well? the lord just blessed me with this computer and the internet i know he has a work for me to do online. i just want to bless his holy name.. heres my testimony 2 months ago the doctors told me i had cervical cancer it blew my mind of course my flesh along with satan tried to creep in my mind. the docotor told me i would have to have chemo, etc. my emotions were out of control because thoughts of having one more child were being torn away.although i am waiting on the lord to send me my husband i really startted saying to myself "i guess it's not in my will to have another child" i wanted to but i came to terms with the outcome but i was soon reminded by gods healing power he used one particular church member in my life to minister to my heart and she was obedient and did so. she said "hold on sister your getting a miracle" guess what i recieved that miracle i am cancer free.."hold on brethren for yours"

I surfed into this site and would like to share my joy with others. I am 50 years old with a family - wife and 3 kids of 10, 7 and 4 years old. Having been in good management jobs with a good income for over 20 years, I was laid off in June but God had prepared me for the event. I had been laid off on 5 occaccasions before. This time the Lord gave me an opportunity to buy an electronics manufacturing business. The result was that we could not build our own dream home on our plot of land. BUT the Lord gave us a new home on 1 acre of country side 2km from town. Now the family has been here for 4 months and it is a miracle. We have been able to move the business to the triple garage basement. The property has a chicken house and we have some chicken and ducks that the kids love looking after. Our family life has become so much more balanced. I drop and pick up the kids most days. The business is stable and growing. My stress levels are almost nil. Our spiritual life is better. We can witness to others here - showing them the joy that the Lord has given us. Thank God and Bless you. Please pray a prayer of thanks giving for our family. Also that we can share our faith in Christ with others.

I just went throught a time where I really doubted God. I tried to read facts that would say He is real and that Jesus is God's Son and that he died for me. I just couldn't seem to make myself believe. I wanted to believe. I felt bad without Him in my life. Even though this was only a few days, maybe one or two, I was scared that I might not be able to have faith in Him again. I prayed for faith. Yesterday, I felt so alive and happy that Jesus is my Lord. I felt this excitement inside of me. I know now that I do not want to be without Him. There is nothing that is not from Him that can satisfy me like He can. I want to encourage anybody reading this that might have doubts about their faith that He is real. He does love you, and the devil will try to destroy your faith. The devil doesn't want you to believe in Jesus. He doesn't want you to be saved. Do not believe anything he tells you. You might feel like these doubts are coming from inside you. Just tell the devil that Jesus is God's Son and, if you are saved, that you are His son and you are a child of the King. God, please fill everyone reading this with the Holy Spirit and give them Your will if it is your will. I pray in Jesus's name, God. Amen.

Hello friends, my name is Mhlonishwa K*. I am a 19 year old born again from South Africa. I would love to praise God for his protection and blessing over my life, through the Lord Jesus Christ i now live a conquerous life, a life free from sin , free from poverty, free from hatred (the joy of the Lord is my strength , when i'm weak i'm strong), free from bondage and all kinds of infirmities. "Who The Son sets free is free indeed..." . I now rejoice heartily and many things now happen without me squeezing out some faith. God answers many of my prayers even before i pray, he suprises me and bring people sent by him. "In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that i will ask the Father on your behalf. No, the Father himself loves you because you loved me and have believed that i came from God" John 16 vs 26-27.

Dear Fellow Believers: I want to take the time to thank God. My mom was going in for a kidney surgery that was potentially detrimental to her health. The kidney stone was almost 1/3 the size of her kidney. In addition, it was infected. Essentially, it was like a large cancer sitting in her body. The operation was a suprising success. The time for surgery was shorter then expected. In addition, they thought she would need several surgeries to take the stone out. They only needed one. I know that someone that may read this may have a loved one that is sick. In fact, I lost my father four years ago in a hospital. But I want you to know that God is in control. God has a plan. And when my father passed in a very difficult way, I knew that God was in control. Stay focused and believe that He that created the universe has your best interests at heart. God Bless you. Paul PS: Please pray for my mom because she is not out of the woods yet. She still has infections that the antibiotics need to control. She was just taken off of a breathing tube. She still needs all your prayers. Thank you to all!

Hi, I PC I just felt like saying that I am very thankful for the Lord and all that he does. I am very thankful for my life, my family, and our home. I just want to praise the Lord for his goodness and his great mercy. Thankyou Lord Jesus for your love and your constant protection. I just want to praise the Lord for he has answered many prayers daily, i see how he is blessing me and my husband I even see many blessings daily as I trust the Lord our God. At the moment you feel like giving up, give it to Jesus, he completely is willing to meet your every need. It is at the point of where we surrender all to him that he can do great miracles, if we will only allow him to do so. He is a wonderful, loving God who cares for our every need. He is patiently waiting for us to call unto him. He is always there even in the most difficult times to lend a helping hand. Praise the Lord all his people for he cares for his children. There is no greater a love, for he cares for us. God has broken the bonds of pain and mistrust from me. I am no longer a slave to the memories of my childhood abuses. I can smile, I can laugh, and I can LOVE because God has taken away my pain. Dear Church, I noticed there were so many request and so few Praises... It reminded me of when Jesus healed the 10 lepers and only 1 returned...I want to be always at the feet of our perfect LORD and SAVIOR for just the very fact that he never sleeps and he keeps a constant watch over me and my family. I have been blessed beyond anything I could ever ask or imagine...Because I have been chosen to spend eternity with the creator of our universe the beauty and magnitude of it all takes my breath away. PRAISE JESUS! the lord has saved my home! I ask for prayer several months regarding my home being in foreclosure and also on getting a job so i can begin to make my mortgage payments and calm/peace/deliverance for my violent autistic son.....THE GOOD LORD JESUS gave me a new job in December, 2005 and my son is much calmer and peaceful...he has even been playing on 2 basketball teams and now i received word today that a workout plan for my home has been approved!!!! The Psalmist wrote that the mercy of the Lord endureth forever. I wish to thank him for his mercy in watching over my daughter. Due to financial problems and typographical errors she could have been in a lot of trouble. I thank God that for him nothing is impossible. There are many things that I could praise the Lord for, but to start I am just glad that when I knew not him, he knew me. By his grace and mercy he would come into my life and bless me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. He's become my wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption and precios is his Holy name. I may not be rich monetarily but I have the riches of the assurance of salvation in him. Truly, I look forward to the day when I will no longer be his betrothed, but his bride. He is the husband that I long for. It is an honour to be as faithful and obediant to him as I can. A second in his presence to feel the presence of his spirit is better than all of the earthly riches imaginable. I thank God that he shed his blood for my sins and visited the low estate of his handmaiden. His word truly is a joy to read. His glory is truly a joy to share with others. They looked for a king and he came a carpenter. They thought he'd be rich and he had no place to lay his head. They thought he'd set up a kingdom in power yet he was meek and lowly. And for all who would believe he gave his life. And I, a lowly gentile, he grafted into a tree of life. O, blessed be his holy name and hallowed be tha name of his Father! I love the idea of being covered and led by his spirit. O, I love him so much!

I posted a request earlier this month that you all would stand in agreement with me for deliverance from lust and addiction to pornography. I must admit immediately after I saw my request was posted, I felt strengthened, like it wasn't just me in the fight. I felt the prayers of you saints going up for me, and I thank you. I told God that I couldn't do it alone, and all the ways to beat it I had tried had not worked, so won't he do it his way, by his strength alone. I would like to tell you all that I have been free ever since. Everyday he renews my strength in this area, all I have to do is be willing to accept it, and since my soul has been afflicted by his sin for so long, I AM GONNA KEEP ACCEPTING IT!!!!! God is miraculous, marvelous, magnificent! I still get thoughts, cause its been such a big thing for me Satan is not going to give up so easily, but I have HOPE, JOY, PEACE and PATIENCE in the Lord! I have been free all this time, but a slave to my own ignorance and inability to let GOD do it HIS WAY in HIS STRENGTH! He wants the glory you all, GIVE IT TO HIM!!! He longs to be gracious to us and praised by us. Lets let him be.

thank u jesus 4 saving my life,and healing me-i juan * was shot in the stomach and was in the hospital for 4 months,and thought i was never coming home. but jesus my lord and savior,healed me. but it dosen't stop there, a bout 3 weeks ago the doctors said i had like 4 or 5 herniahs in my stomach and that i would need another surgery,i didn't want 2 go threw any more surgerys, so prayed about it-and JESUS healed me-THANK U JESUS-I PRAISE U-WHAT A WONDERFUL GOD IS HE-WHAT AN AWESOME GOD IS HE !!!!!!!!!

I was lying in bed one night it was 12:30 thinking about my Elijah.How he had said he had went to heaven one eveningwhile he was preaching i prayed lord i want to come and visit,and in that instance it was the most undescribable jolt went through my body.when i opened my eyes from praying iwas there standing before the pearly gates.There came to my attention a man in the distance,running towards me yelling,screaming,and waving his arms.At first i could not understand what he was saying,but as he drew closer i could understand him he was yelling my name is daniel over and over.When he reached the gates he reached through them and grabbed me by the shirt,and he pulled me up against the gate because we were on opposite sides.Daniel,as he called himself,began to tell me that there was something the lord wanted me to know.He said the lord wanted me to know that the lion's mouth had been shut on my behalf.After he told me this i was instantly back in my bed all of this seemed to have taken a couple of minutes,but when i looked at my clock it was staight up 1:00am. I now know what the phrase "when time stands still" really means.It was two days later when i was coming off my spiritual high i was able to ask the almighty what was ment by what happened he said you have reached the point of no return the devil can't touch you because you are of me.I thank my JESUS that i have found favor in his eyes.The Daniel spoke of, in this voiced opinion of the LORD, is he who the angel was sent to to protect and to close the mouth of the lion so he would not be harmed as he stood for Christ and prayed anyway. If you have taken the time to read my close encounter i ask that you would began to pray and ask JESUS to shut the mouth of the lion in your life and i will be standing in agreement with you that he who has set us free will deliver and send an angel to stand by your side.I would that you will stand strong in the lord in the power of his might for the rest of your days.May god bless you and keep you Amen. love,BRO.Danny

I want to praise God.. I'm glad that I found this place, because I don't have a church home yet because I'm new to the area that I live in. I just received an abundant blessing from God, and had a burning desire to share it with someone! I have been in prayer about transportation, I didn't want a car payment, and I wanted the car to be something dependable because I'm a lady, and didn't want to be taken advantage of. God sure did it good! God directed me to the car "HE" wanted me to have. The car is in excellent condition. A new paint job, a new engine, and I received it for the price that I could afford. I payed for it, and I have no car payment. The car is used, but if you saw it, you'd declare it was new. There was a full tank of gas in it, and money in the change pocket. One thing that I hadn't realized was the CD player.. Won't he give you double for your trouble? Praise HIM!!! I was going to buy a CD player because I like to listen to gospel music CD's while riding. I hadn't noticed the CD player because the owner said it only had a radio. It has a radio all right, a brand new CD player!!!! Now only God can give you what you need, and even throw in the extras! It was well worth the wait. I was impatient at first, (and had to repent for that), but when I decided to wait on God, He blessed it like only He can! I want to shout it from the roof tops.. not to brag, or anything like that, simply to say.. "ONLY GOD"! Only God can give you what you need most, If only we would trust Him more! Thank God for a place to praise.. Prayer truly does change things! If you're waiting on an answer from God, don't give up.. keep praying.. God will not forget. If he said it.. You can believe it! Praise God.. the greatest gift I ever received!!!! God bless you all!

I WOULD LIKE TO PRAISE GOD FOR THE BIRTH OF A HEALTHY, BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY ON OCTOBER 24TH. I have been on this prayer website praying with others and asking for others to pray with me for various things. My underlying concern throughout my pregnancy has been...A HEALTHY BABY. I chose to go through with this pregnancy at about as difficult time in life as anyone could face. Separated from my abusive husband, working to support myself and two children not knowing how things would work out financially or otherwise...but being diligent in the Lord and seeking him and his will, faithfull that he would provide. I worried over the months passed, that in all this trial, even with God working so greatly in my life, What if my baby wasn't healthy...I fantasized about the day that I would hold this Boy in my arms and be able to praise God and Witness to others that this baby is a living breathing testimony, I believed and was obedient to God's will even when my first instincts were to terminate. I was led and blessed by God's Loving hand and understanding to continue with the pregnancy and trust/rest in the Lords Provisions which worked throughout the pregnancy with finances, etc... And now with he birth of my beautiful, healthy Boy. I can not articulate how Grateful I am to God and how strengthened my faith is in him. My son is a blessing I will get to witness for a lifetime (By God's Grace) as to God's Mercy and Promises. I have to other children and I know they all are all of these things but there has been a special renewing of my Faith and relationship with God through my faithfull and diligent relationship with him during this pregnancy that I feel has moved my to a whole new level of faith. I praise God for his Mercies. Praise God...And God Bless you All.

When my husband lost his job it was the best thing God ever did for him. First the incident was a wake up call and he stopped one of the bad habits I prayed he would be delivered from. Less than a month later, he was blessed with a new temporary job with a Christian boss that allowed hime time off to look for something more permanent. This man also has a business we can both work at part-time which could turn into our own business opportunity. Between those events, my husband and I found a new church home and joined it together on our anniversary. Since then he has grown leaps and bounds as the spiritual head of our household. Today, after weeks of prayer and waiting, he has been blessed with a permanent, full-time job with one of his former employers. They've also agreed in advance to give him time off to be with me for an upcoming medical proceedure. All of this has happened in less than three months. God is good!!!

Thanks for your prayers and praise God my divorce is settled and my sister's financial situation has been resolved. Whew. Whew. Also, praise God that my vehicle which needs a new engine is covered under warranty. I (listen to me :-)) had to circumvent the normal service rules and find an executive at the motor company that heard my issue and agreed to fix the car. Instead of a $5000 repair bill I now have a $50 warranty deductible. Thank God, considering the bills I just paid for the divorce and clearing up my sisters financial situation, that the car is covered. Thanks, God, for keeping a watch over me. Love, Mike

Jeus is alive and thrives in us all day! Jesus has poured his blessing apon me this year. I've grown so much spiritually this year and the lord has taken me and taught me so much.I love the lord so so much!!!!!! Am thanking God because he has been so good to me. Though am single, i've been blessed with a beautiful inteligent girl who is so obedient and wants to work for the Lord. I've managed to complete university and though I do not have a job I thank God that he has brought me this far and will bless me with a job at a suitable time.Am also thanking him for my wonderful family of my dad, brothers and sisters and all my other extended family. I have been seriously ill for 15 years. I prayed earnestly to Jesus and to God last year, 2004, and asked Jesus merely to help me. He decided to Heal me himself in front of 3 family members ! I am writing this to those of you who are so low and can't seem to find the light in the darkness. Several years ago myself, my mother and my husband started a business together. It was doing nicely and my chidren were grown and in college and very close to God. My life was full of family, friends and church. Then one Sunday, my mother passed unexpectedly. I found her and my world came crashing down. She was my very best friend. There was not a day that we didn't see each other. I stuggled for months and finally God pulled me back with a loving hand. It was at this time that my husband had a deadly heart attack. He was in the hospital for weeks and had to have extensive surgeries. He was no longer able to work. I realized that we were going to lose everything including our retirements which were tied up in the business. We had no insurance because of earlier health problems and no one would cover us. We were almost a half million in debt. I could not see into the future, the doctors gave my husband less than five years to live. When I tried to see the light, all I saw was darkness. One night while my husband was still fighting for his life, I finally broke and just begged God to take the load that I was carrying. At that very moment God physically wrapped his arms around me and held on tight. I knew then that all would be made right. We sold everything and paid what we could of our debt and God did the rest. We moved closer to the kids and started rehabbing my husband. It was tough going at first but God was with us and the time though hard was the most rewarding of our lives. It has been three years now and we are doing great. My husband is now able to outwalk me and is a living inspiration to all who know him, including his doctors who are amazed by his progress. I have been graced with a could job and by next year, God willing, we will be out of debt. I still need to rebuild our retirement but I am not really concerned. I have been shown that God is soo in controll of my life that I never really had to worry. He took care of everything. I just needed faith and patience. I hope this will help those suffering as I was at that time. Have faith he is in control. Love and Prayers To All Those In The Depths Of Dispair. Your Sister In Christ.

Earlier this morning before heading out to work, my husband asked me if I had given Trooper (our kitten) any water yet? I told him no, so he headed back in the house to give him some. After a while went by, I went in to check on my husband. I walked into the room and saw my husband cutting away the strings on the blinds from Troopers body. Durring the 5 minutes or so that we were out of the room headed to work, Trooper somhow got the blind's strings caught around his back legs, neck, and front legs and was just hanging from the dresser in front of the blinds. Looking at the situation- I know that this was one of God's little miracles that sometimes we just don't realize. I couldn't thank God enough for making sure that Trooper had no water in his dish, and making sure that my husband KNEW that he had no water. Had God not reminded my husband about the water, Trooper would probably not be with us anymore. Thank you God for showing us these (what seem like) simple little everyday signs that lead to our destiny's. Trooper is a member of the family and a creation from God- I couldn't imagine losing him, especially with a horrible way of going. I lost a cat not too long ago- her name is Jinxy. She was outside playing on the deck. I was not there when it happened, but we are pretty sure she was trying to catch some little ducks that were swimming in our pool at the edge of the deck, and she fell in. She was not able to get out because the ledge was so high. Eventually she just got too tired and drowned. I was completely devastated. My mother was the one who found her in the pool, and she was completely heartbroken, also. Please pray for my kitties- Thank you for listening and caring-

what is evil? evil is when people close to you have seen you suffer,and have allowed you to suffer,and have tried to further your sufferings. yes,evil has been a party to evil.when they think that you are down,and that they have you defeated,and after they feel they have convinced the majority that it was within your fault, that your life has not prospered in the worldly things, and that all came about because god did not favor you...when he doesn't understand that god is watching at all time, when they don't understand that it is god who carries his children through the wilderness, when they don't understand that there is a day that god will reach down to pick up his children after they had fallen prey, when they have accused truth to cover wrong, when they dare to say that the fault of the suffereror is his only to his claim...hear this, brethren, "all have sinned and fallen short of god"... for it is written of the holy spirit... christ not only walkded as a man to cover our sins,he walked as a man that no one could say, "god just does not understand. he is god, and we are only peole". he has walked as a man. he hath suffered as a man. he went the mile to claim all things that are true of mans filthy nature. no, satan, you have been defeated, even in this issue. yes, jesus christ hath proven god,our father. what he hath created, he hath created. all that god had already known when he created us, he declares through his prophet.he is our maker, and he says... I would just like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for answering a prayer i've had for a long time. I'm still a very young girl, but I have really been praying for a good Christian guy to date and I was trying to find him and not be in God's will, and that always failed. So I put my trust in the Lord, and he answered my prayer and now I have a great guy that I can pray with and share my love for God with. I know I'm only 15, but it really helps in my teenage years to have someone that is there for me and loves God just as much as I do. Even if things do fall through on our relationship, God has sent me a great friend and I thank Him everyday for this guy. So whatever your prayer is, as useless and as silly as you think it is, God hears and answers EVERY prayer. He is never too busy to listen to what you have to say. When you feel that there is no hope left, just turn to God. He'll never leave you or forsake you. He loves you more than anybody in this world can. God is so amazing. I came to Christ on August 29, 2004, and since that day I have been so happy. I still have my down times like everyone does, but for the past three years, I have been suffering depression. One night wich was the worste crisis ever, I came home from Day Therapy at Mental Health, and I was so depressed, that I was about to lash out. I went to the store to call the crisis line, because I didn't have a phone. The lady seemed mean, so I hung up. I knew I just couldn't go home, So I called 911 because I wanted to see if they had any resources of any perfessional councilars on duty that I could speak to. I had to speak to someone. I was already loosing it. I was tempted to put my fist through the window of the store, but I was afraid. I wanted to die that night, I had no where else to turn to. My friends and family wouldn't understand. So I sat on the side walk in front of the store and cried very hysterically. I wanted to die. I felt like I had no other way out. I was afraid to take my own life. I thank God that I was afraid. And even though I didn't know God then, He was with me. He saved me from doing something stupid. He even wept with me. He didn't want to see his child take her life. Take away what He has created. The police came, and took me to the hospital. I spoke to the same lady on the phone, and I left. She was too harsh. I didn't want sympathy, I just wanted to talk. I left. Then I went to the casino and won $280 and then went to a friends afterwards and ordered pizza and went thome. The next day I told my sister what happened. I even told her that I went to the casino. Then I went to hang out on her house, because she said I shouldn't be alone. I still felt awful. Not the awful there I still wanted to die, but I was shaking. I felt like I had a nervouse break down. This went on for a couple days. If it wasn't for God, I might not have been here, or I would have been in a worse condition. The day I said: Lord I ask for your forgiveness, and I accept you as my father, My depression was lifted. I didn't realize it right at that moment, but I could feel something lifting off of me. God revealed it to me a couple weeks after I got saved. I don't know how to thank Him. I now have hope. I am happier than I have ever been before. I now found the happiness that I have been searching for three years. I no longer have to live in terror, but in peace with God. And if I did take my life that night, I would have missed out on getting to know God. I would have missed out on that chance to see happiness again, because I would have been in hell where there is more terror. I am thank for for one thing, Even though I felt like I have been in hell for the past three years, I hevn't seen anything like it. I was just being tourmented by the devil. Being decieved and searching for the wrong things. Praise God, for life, forgiveness, and a second chance, and for healing. Now I know where to turn if something like that were to happen again. Well its not all good news but it is a story of how God works to make life better in the face of crisis.

On the 7th of this month my oldest son snuck out of the house with his BB gun at 1am. He fired it several times but did no damage to anything. One of the neighbors called the police and he received a ticket for firing a weapon in city limits. He has never been in trouble with the law before, nor have I. Now here is the kicker I heard nothing more about it until Monday afternoon when I was approched by a process server and served with a 48 hour notice to vacate property.

I went to court yesterday and the judge threw the book at me saying that she had no idea why I would have problem putting my kids in the street on 48 hours notice when I "put my son on the street with a rifle"....Blessing number one the good lord had his hand on my shoulder and I did not go to jail for saying exactly what I thought...lol

Now here comes the blessings....watch them and see Gods hand moving.

I belong to a freecycle group here in Tulsa and just prior to this a lady there contacted me out of the blue and offered me a bunk bed set. I did not know why I felt so compelled to take it but I did not knowing where I would store it. Where we are moving I will need both boys in the same room and without a bunk bed I would not be able to pull it off.

The day that I got the notice I went looking for houses and found one 2 blocks from where I live for almost half the rate of what I am paying. I told the lady right up front what was happening and she had no problem working with me...better yet she hired my son to do yard work on the house we are moving into for the make ready and will be paying him pretty close to enough to cover his ticket. Yesterday when I signed the lease she told me that she wanted to tell me something...then she told me that when she meet me BEFORE I even told her what was going on she just felt God pushing her to help me...she did not understand why but she was adiment about it.

Now we had a cat and I needed to place it right away as I could not take it with me.....I called everywhere and could not even find a shelter that would take him in...then I called a lady in Owwaso and she was more than willing to take him in. I drove him over heartbroken about loosing our pet and when we got there she talked and talked to me forever and then asked me if it would be ok if she kept our cat out of the adoption process because she knew he had a loving home and she just felt that something would happen and we would be able to keep him. I was worried as I did not want him to miss out on the chance for a good home but I went along with it all the same.

When I went to sign the lease the landlord told me she had forgotten to tell me that she allows all renters to keep one cat with a litter box without paying a deposit. She even had it typed in the lease in bold print. We got to keep our cat and neither lady knew the other...

When the judge gave me the 48 hour notice the owner of the property that has been awful to work with spoke up and gave me until the 3rd.

As I was driving back home from court I was a mess, but then a calm came over me and I just knew all would be ok. When I got home I received a call from Amy the lady with the cat rescue. She wanted to know how I was doing and said she just felt that I needed help and started praying hard for me..the time that she did that was when i was driving and after she started praying was when the calm hit.

I have no fridge or washer/dryer or microwave...so I called my ex-husband and asked him if the boys could stay with him until I could get a Fridge. He hemmed and hawed around about it. So I called my former sister in law , who is also a good friend of mine and asked if the boys could stay with her while I got things squared away because of the fridge...she said "Sure they can always stay but why dont I just give you the refridgerator that I was about to list."

Brothers and sisters, blessed be His mighty name. Some times ago, I submitted a prayer request so that God would get my rights from my manager who was refusing to pay me what he was supposed to, and i was confident God would defend my rights coz no man or no power can violate His children's rights. today I praise Him for what he has done, I have been paid all my rights. He gave me according to His love and grace !!! I previously had also asked for your prayer support for the health problems I was having and that I needed a surgery i couldnt afford, He did not give me the money or conditions for the surgery, HE HEALED ME !!! so I praise His holy name and I give all the glory and honour to Him, coz once again He proved His love and faithfulness to me.... Blessed be his name and blessed be the blood of His son....amen.

My dad is an alcoholic. Ever since I can remember, he was always very negativie, harsh in his attitude towards my mom and my sisters and I. He had so much hate in him and would make me cry at least once a week. I could never invite any friends over to my house in fear that my dad would come home drunk that night and embarrase me. Years of mental abuse took a tole on the relationship btwn my parents. I stopped believing in my dad and eventually ended up becoming very disrespectful to him. I prayed to God to make him leave or to help him stop drinking. I was always jealouos of my friends because I knew most of them didn't have a dad like mine.. I remember even staying in a hotel one night because my mom just couldn't deal with my dad coming home drunk 3 nights in a row. However, all of this changed when I dedicated my life to Christ. I prayed feverently for my dad to be released from this bondage. When I was finally serious with God, my prayers were answered. Out of no where it seemed, my dad began to attend church with me and slowly break his cycle of alcohol abuse. During this time period, I was still skeptical because my dad had tried to give up drinking many times before. Months began to pass, my dad had very bad mood swings at times from the withdrawals and my parents fought even more at times. However, I praised God for the freeing my dad was getting from putting God first in his life. Slowly, my dads heart began to change. He was more patient and more loving towards my family. I wasn't afraid that any little word I said would set him off. Currently, my dad has been somber for over a year. He is now involved with the youth ministry, he plays the guitar and sings for the little kids. I thank God so much. I was reading a story similar to the one I have posted and I feel the same way as this guys said. "Thank you God for changing the one person that I thought could never change." God is faithful.. yes, it takes time, but God has a plan and purpose for everything. God has helped my dad and I to form a relationship and become a team. We have become very close and rely on each other for support. My dad now comes to watch me play softball and cheer me on. Never before in my life has my dad been this involved. God can change hearts, he changed my dads and he can change yours as well.

we are not meant to understand the reasons why but by all reasoning available to mankind there is an almighty God. To believe there is any other explanation for the flowering of life in all it's forms is quite simply ilogical. We were given the gift of seeing the wonder of Gods glory and henceforth have a duty to not only recognize and marvel but to also tell the Lord how much we appreciate his gifts. As i sit here at this keyboard i feel the same wonder and amazement i sometimes feel in prayer, as if there is clarity of purpose. I feel that there is no dis-connect between science and religion...let me explain: God created everything correct?,,yes. everything from the smallest atom to the galaxies?,,yes. There is an intelligent design to the way things work?,, yes. why are the two views so different?. To say that we didn't "evolve" from monkeys denotes a limiting of what God can do ...if God can create an intelligent design for the universe why cant' evolution just be part of the "tools" the he uses?. We are not only put on this earth by God we are put here for a purpose which is the same for science and religion to evolve to a higher form of existence in another plain...so whether scientist and skeptics believe or not or know for that matter they are being utilized by God which is the main reason for all and the main thing to strive to attain. I know there is a God. how can there be otherwise? Thank you Lord for all you have done for us Humans. We appreciate all you have done. We love you and the world you provided for us. My friend Amy was going COMPLETELY down hill... she was dating a guy who treated her like she was a dog... And she let herself be less than she is.. And I prayed for her at least six times a day.. and now her life is completly on track.. thank you all for praying for her too!!!.. jenn

My mother and I have never really got along. A few weeks ago she said she no longer cared if I came to see her. I prayed and prayed that one day she would love me again and want to call me daughter once again. I called her up and she was so happy to hear from me so I went over to see her and she said she was sorry! Never think that God does not answer prayers jusst because your sinking sand. Sometimes that sinking sand may become your solid ground

praise jesus he gave me this guitar that i have right now. It is only due to Him and the car accident i had earlier today that I am holding onto this guitar and signing His praises. "Praise him in song" Ecclastiseis 4:23 I was in a car accident earlier today (sober, praise God) and I was not hurt at all. it was a van that ran a stop sign and drove away before i got out. thank Jesus i was ok. i drove home with three wheel! when i got home I was looking at the car and i noticed this black guitar case in the trunk! i have no idea howe it got there! Thank you Jesus for this guitar! I am ok! miracles happen! prais Him!

I would like to praise Jesus today on Easter Sunday morning because He has protected me on my way home early this morning in avoiding a rear end collision with a stopped car in the middle of the road at 12:34 am. I know with the Lord's guidance, this is why I did not hit that car and wreck my new car as well. Yes I was sober. Thank you dear Jesus. Amen

As I marvel at the nature of all that abounds around us, I get great relief for I know that he keeps his word and he is a just and faithfull God. I have had my share of troubles, trials and tribulations and even as I go through them as I now am, I can't help but wonder how marvels, wonderfull and loving he is, I recently had some serious troubles at my work place and even now the tribulations are adding up and piling 1 after the other, but he keeps me going. I prayed and pleaded withGod to see me through and read his promises in the bible to us, dear reader I noticed that the more I prayed the nearer I got to God in faith and spirit, I invoked the Book of Psalms 36 and cried my heart out to him to come to my rescue, I believe God looked at me and said son why do you despair as if I am not your God? Why don't you see that I am with you in all these happenings and suddenly there was a great lifting of burden from my shoulders I felt at peace with my God and my fellow mankind, even though I still face some tribulations and hurdles, I fear none because I walk with him knowing I am protected in his bowels. he is the Lord of hosts, king of kings, he is master over all that exists on earth and heaven, he does it for all of us and always praises should be dircetd to him most high. I still request for your prayers for all that I am going through and I believe that he hears all that seek him with their hearts and souls and he never disaapoints he is always on time I build my patience and my salvation on him. My his grace be upon all of us forever amen

Offering up my Praise to Christ for my successes as well as important lessons learned.I know I will get through my education successfully as long as I dont forget He is at my side constantly.I do live by Hebrews 13:5.The only truble is my own self doubt.I do not doubt Him at all.I have gone back to school,after a twenty year lapse of reason,to become a certified alcohol and drug addiction recovery councelor.I am 10yrs 6mo 3days since my last drink,and 12yrs 9mo 3days since my last drug abuse eppisode(sp).Thank You for taking the time to read this.

I never believed that God loved me

Praise God! It amazes me when I am reminded that all I have to do is ask, and it will be given. Recently, I have had a skin irritation that was extremely painful. I prayed to God that He stop the oozing of the broken skin, and He healed me! The skin is still healing completely, but I woke up, and didn't need the tissues I had been using to keep from ruining shirts.

Not 24 hours later, I was working in my aunt's house helping her paint, and my back was so tired from all of the work. I found myself hunched over, just praying for strength and for the pain to subside so we could work some more, and soon the pain had lessened! Praise God. I was so worried that I would not be able to get out of the bed to make it to church the next morning, but the stiffness I expected wasn't there. I was tired, but God gave me the strength.

Also, I have been praying to God for comforting my heart on when to have children. My husband and I have discussed this summer to start trying, but it has been weighing really hard on my heart already. I have been asking God for clarity. Last I had talked with my husband he wasn't ready right then, so I didn't want to bring it up with him. I was afraid it would upset him. Last night we were talking before falling asleep, and the discussion of children came up. He said that while he didn't want to get pregnant right now, that in February or March we could revisit the idea. It was an answered prayer! Praise God for speaking to my husband's heart on my behalf. I am so thankful.

Please remember that you can take anything to God, and know that he will listen! Answers to small prayers- like an aching back from holding a paint brush- are the sometimes the best ones. It is the little things that bring God always to my mind. Amen
