Hello, and thanks for taking your time to read. I'm in a struggle with addiction. I am addicted heavily to nicotine. I smoke cigarettes all the time, and for quite some time it's been really affecting my mental and physical health. I would really like to quit, but I keep returning to my addiction, because I get awful withdrawal symptoms. I get bitter, severe depression and extreme irritability if I go without smoking even for a short amount of time. It has affected relationships with those that I love most... which adds to the depression aspect. I feel stuck and hopeless. I know that God, Jesus Christ, can do anything and I humbly beg for deliverance. I pray for a renewed, strengthened mind that isn't foggy or forgetful. I'm a married mother of 4 girls, ages 18, 13, 10 and 7. I was a church going Christian till about 4 years ago. I let myself fall into sin and leave the church. But even when I was seeking the Lord and reading His word and doing my best, I had always struggled with anxiety, depression, anger and low self esteem. Even being at church was an anxious experience for me! Now my family life has been a scary one. My 13 year old has been in a lot of trouble and my 18 year old has suffered greatly from anxiety, depression, hopelessness and suicidal thoughts. I have been beside myself and overcome with despair and worry while praying for help for my kids. I feel that I got the revelation today that the Lord needs to heal me and it wil improve the atmosphere of my home, I feel that I have been toxic and negative....my husband is a good man but not a follower so this is for him too. I have been reading, praying and seeking, please pray for me and family. I NEED a healing of mind and spirit!!!!

Hello. I am having trouble in my Love relationship with my boyfriend where I did not treat him as great as I could and now he does jpt trust me that I can change where I already am. We live together, but have not had a relationship in 2 months, no intimacy or physical contact at all. He is so stuck on this because of his pride, which is a sin. I do know he has a deep love for me as I do for or he would really tell me to leave. the plan is that I am to move out in 2 months, however I am going to change that do I pray that this turns around by then and we work though this.

This is my first time coming to this site and I just ran by this site and decided to go on it and looked at some of the prayers and decided to put my prayer request in. Saints I need help!! I'm 16 years old and I have been saved and sanctified in the Name of JESUS since I was 4 years old and I have such a walk with the LORD. Please don't judge me, but I have an addiction to pornography. I've tried everything else and I have prayed for a long time but now is the time for the Saints to come in and pray for me. I want to change but GOD KNOWS it's hard and I know that the LORD is coming soon and I want to to get my life together because I don't want to miss his coming. I'm not an evil person but I've been in bondage over this addiction since 08. I know I can't do this by myself I NEED THE LORD, NOW is the time for the chains to start breaking because I know the LORD will bring me out of darkness and into light again. But when I enter deliverance I don't want to go back to my sinful ways. I pray this is the final time I have to pray about this and go through this. I know JESUS for myself and I know his power and I need his power to work in me. Weeping may endure for a night but JOY cometh in the morning. I will preach the WORD OF GOD one day. Everyone on this board please pray for my Godfather John M*. I know you all are here for the same thing but I need your help in Jesus name. I will also pray for you all as well. My godfather is approx 50 yrs old and has been complaining of back pains for months now. After falling to his knees because he couldn't take the pain anymore he finally went to the doctor. After getting multiple tests and seeing lumps on his back the doctor is convinced it is lymphoma or another type of cancer. He had lymphnodes removed to get a biopsy and is afraid he has cancer. He is also having problems breathing and no energy. He has a loving wife and a 12 yr old girl he adopted from Kazakhstan at the age of two. He is a Christian and is bed ridden because of pain. I'm sorry to bother you all but I feel that God compelled me to post on this board for your prayers. With prayer we can move mountains. Please pray for him.

I'm in need of prayers, My name is Joanne and I am 22 weeks pregnant, I was told that my baby has some issues, my baby has a hole in its heart and today I got a phone call that my baby has something called dandy walker. They told me that if these cases are severe surgery could be needed when my baby is born. The doctors asked me because of these problems if I wanted to terminate the pregnancy I said no, that it wasn't an option. Where do I begin. The Lord has blessed me in so much. I haven't a want or even a need. Yet I find myself so broken and alone. My problem is two fold. First, self discipline and control. I often let my heart lead me along with every emotion, etc that it has rather than me leading my heart. This leads to my second problem. I am a bit of a social misfit. I try really hard to be nice but this usually leads me to situations where I am taken advantage of which in turn leads to me either getting into some sort of trouble or becoming bitter. Or I fight against things I perceive as wrong but I do so poorly and this just gets me looked at as being unreasonable. The problem is, I have to wonder if the opposite side is not right. I just don't know how to find that balance with people were I gain their respect while being kind hearted and patient. I desperately need God's wisdom, strength, and guidance. I really feel that I have such a wonderful life but I have no peace in my heart. This lack of peace is, and I truly believe this, brought on by no one else but myself. I am unable to deal with people and it tears me up inside. I care deeply for people and what they think but do not know how to interact. Perhaps I care to deeply about what people think. It is tearing my soul apart and the only problems I think I have in life is me and my lack of ability to find peace with who I am with and where I am at in life. Please pray that God will straighten me out but with mercy and patience. Also, I am getting ready to retire from the military. Pray that God will guide me in my future. My personality scares me in that I do not have confidence I will be able to find another job or fit in to society strictly because of my own self. And all this can not be easy on my family so pray that I will straighten out so I can let my family have peace and not worry them. Pray that I can be the father and husband they deserve.

I worked at my church this morning w/ another member and feel good about what we accomplished but personally I am empty and have recently concidered suicide. My family would move on but my church would be devistated w/ such a move. I love Christ w/ all my heart and do good for others but I myself am dead inside. Please pray for discernment regarding the one I am engaged to, Allen, who I had a disagreement with about four days ago. Please pray as God wills, I will hear something from him. I am praying he will as he is a pulpit supply preacher (57), be baptized (he does not believe it is that important despite having heard sermons he agrees with by Charles Stanley). I find he judges everyone as being Christian or not by their actions. I feel only God knows the heart and "if we say we are without sin, the truth is not in us" and "if we break part of the law, we have broken the whole law". I am praying for more grace and also generosity. He does not give to the church yet when he preaches, he expects to obtain some financial compensation. He reads scripture daily and prays for my children and I daily and there is so much kindness shown to me and others that I have to put this in context. The above actions concern me though and he is highly defensive when I approach him about any of his above thoughts/decisions. Please pray for God's will to be done in our lives separately or together so we can be in Christ, all God purposed us to be in this world. I am going through a bad breakup, we were in love (or so I thought) and he left me because his family is Jewish. More specifically his mother didn't want to meet m because I wear a cross around my neck, this last month has been the hardest month of my life and it doesn't get better. I miss him more and more daily. I have never been so overwhelmed and demotivated at work and can't seem to save money for a teaching abroad coarse I wanted to take in september. Your prayers are much needed and greatly appreciated as I feel totally helpless. Thank you.

Please pray for me. My name is Charles, I am 36 years old and I am from Montreal, Canada. I have been getting a multitude of health problems such as inflammations in my intestines and in my eyes. I have also started getting allergic reactions to certain foods, but I am unsure of which foods yet. Please pray for my overall healing so I can be healthy again. Our roommate is trying to decide whether to kick us out or not. If he does my husband, three dogs and myself would be homeless. On top of that we have no health ins. and my husband has been having bad pains on his left side and I just found lumps under his skin on his left side by his rib cage. We have an appointment with Volunteers of Medicine July 3rd to try to get on free medical which with his health problems and mine its crucial. Please pray for us. I'm sick literally from worry.

My sister Stephanie is a good person deep down, but she is very unstable. Nobody really knows what is wrong with her. Although she is saved, I believe she is full of demons. She is 31 and lives at home. About 5 years ago her and her ex-husband (also unstable) split up. As a result she moved back home with her daughter. And my mom and dad have been raising her little girl. There are some rare good moments, hours even days where my sister shows the signs of being a good mother, but....it is never consistent. She spends the majority of her days laying in bed playing on the computer. She is epileptic so she can't drive and really doesn't do much. My mother is exhausted because she has to raise her granddaughter and still has to raise her 31 yr old daughter. She is also very rude to my mother and is not shy about cursing at her, lying or ignoring her rules of the house. However, if you ask her...she will tell you that she is a great mother. She lives in a complete fantasy world. She has no job and seems to have little motivation to find one. She is very lazy and sleeps and wakes up whenever she feels like it. None of us know what to do with her. If it wasn't for their grandaughter my parents would have kicked her out years ago. I ask that you lift this situation up in prayer. Pray for change and stability in her life. My mother is no spring chicken and she is weary doing everything. Also....my sister is talking to some guy on the internet and we are all deathly afraid of the worst case scenarios that could come from this. My parents are so stressed.

I have been struggling with severe depression for several years. I am 28 and I'm on my fourth antidepressant with no significant improvement. I've contemplated suicide and I'm desperately searching to find any joy in life. I believe I'm my heart that true joy comes from the Lord, but I find myself constantly pulling away from Him. I want so badly to put my hope and trust in Him and to find my refuge in His arms, but I continue to turn away. I'm begging for the help of the Body to lift me up and support me during this trial. I can live with being unhappy, but I can't live with being apart from my God. Pray for me to turn from sin and return to Christ so I can find the peace that I know only He can give me.

Too many of our past together, in love and in grief. In my heart I feel he is my soulmate and I believe his promise to never leave me for the sake of any kind and will go through everything with me. I need a job, I am behind in child support and have til the 8th of this month to explain way I haven't paid. If i don't have a good reason a bench warrant will be issued. I have been in school full time. I live with my parents and have been trying to better my situation with education so I can put a end to the jobs w/o benefits and low pay. my kids live an hour from me and I never have the money to see them even when I was working making min. wage. I am just about done with school now and I am having a hard time finding a job that I went to school for because most want 2-5yrs exp.
